IDRAS staff and Board members take reasonable steps to ensure that personal data and confidential information are kept securely and in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998.
What we collect
You choose what information you send us when you contact us.
We will not share this information with anyone outside IDRAS without your permission.
No personal information about you is recorded unless you fill in a survey or complete a form.
Any personal data that is collected is stored in compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and you may request a copy of that data.
What we do with the information you give us
IDRAS will keep a simple statistical record of visits to the website, numbers of ‘contacts’ and the type of problem raised. This is for the purpose of ensuring that we can meet needs as they emerge, for example, by adding guidance on additional points or providing references to additional resources.
You may choose to offer us an example which could be adapted for use in anonymised form as a ‘story’ in the Your Stories section.
