Avoid delay

Have you reviewed the causes of delay in handling complaints, grievance and other disputes in your institution? Could an in-house Assessor help identify the reasons why things take so long?

  • Do your procedures set time-limits for dealing with complaints, grievance, concerns, appeals?
  • How often do you keep to your published time-limits?
  • Are they realistic?
  • What causes delays?
  • How could you improve time-keeping and avoid delays?
